At Devonshire House you can be assured of a warm, friendly welcome and comfortable stay in our large, bright studio rooms.
Devonshire House is a family home situated in Lower Langford, a small village in the foothills of the Mendips in North Somerset. The house was built in the early 1800s and sits in a large south facing garden away from the main road and is very peaceful. Our two light and spacious en-suite studio rooms are self-contained and separate from the main house allowing guests to come and go as they please. There is plenty of parking and a private access and secluded garden.

Our Studio rooms are modern and well furnished with plenty of storage space, a comfortable double bed and en-suite shower rooms. Each studio has a kitchenette with all necessary appliances providing accommodation to suit both self catering and bed and breakfast stays. There is also an interconnecting doorway allowing both studios to be booked together for larger parties of 4-6 people. Additional single beds are also available upon request.

Lower Langford has a very good pub serving meals which is 2 minutes walk from the house. The Plough in Wrington also serves meals and is a mile away. Budgens a small super market and garage is open 24 hours and is 15 minutes walk.
Whether wanting a short break, a stopover for Bristol Airport, a weekend or a holiday you will love this beautiful, peaceful and secluded spot. Our studios are also ideal for longer lets whilst studying at the Ground School at Cheddar, the Bristol Flying Centre or Bristol Aviation.
There’s so much to do, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Somerset maybe renowned for its beautiful countryside but that’s only the beginning of what it offers.

Most popularly visited is Glastonbury Tor, which rises dramatically from the flat landscape of the Somerset Levels, to a height of 158 metres (525 feet). The Tor is topped by the tower of a ruined 15th-century church (St Michael's). |

Cycling Somerset - For a gentle cycling holiday, the Somerset Levels and Moors provides a comfortable ride through its varied picturesque backdrops. For those who like more of a challenge, there are the varied ranges of hills and forests such as the Mendips, the Quantocks, Exmoor and the Avon Community Forest. |
